Laser Tattoo Removal
Laser tattoo removal is a safe and effective treatment for the removal of unwanted tattoos. The Q10 is a Medical Grade, FDA cleared laser utilising Q switched technology which fragments the ink pigment into tiny particles, small enough to be absorbed into and removed by the body’s immune system. The tattoo will gradually fade with each treatment over the course of a few months.
Most tattoos can be considerably diminished and many can be completely removed. As a guide amateur tattoos can take between 1-5 sessions and professional tattoos can take between 4 – 15 sessions with at least 6/8 week’s between each treatment. The number of treatments will depend on the age, size, colour and location of the tattoo as well as the type and depth of the ink pigment. How effective the treatment results are is up to you. Keeping active and healthy will improve the speed at which your tattoo is removed. The healthier and stronger the immune system, the easier it will flush out the ink particles.
Different wavelengths are used to treat different colours. Q10 offers 4 wavelengths to allow treatment of a wider range of colours.
Laser Pigmentation Removal
Facial pigmentation affects many individuals from a small sunspot to a larger area such as Melasma. With our Q10 laser we are successfully able to treat a wide range of pigmentation age spots, sun spots, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, cafe au lait and seborrheic keratosis.
For best results, we recommend a course of 2-3 sessions, 6 weeks apart.
The laser heats up and shatters the pigment, the pigment is then drawn to the surface without harming the surrounding tissue. Once drawn to the surface and pigmented lesions will fade or dry and flake off the treated area leaving the skin with an even tone and complexion.
COSMETIC TATTOO REMOVAL
Q10 is an effective method of removing semi permanent makeup. Similar to tattoo removal the laser breaks down pigment into small fragments which the body can remove naturally. Removal of cosmetic tattoos is faster and requires fewer treatments than tattoo removal.
