Laser hair removal is a highly effective and proven way to remove and reduce unwanted hair from the face and body. An average of 6/8 treatments (some people do require more) will be required every 4/8 weeks (area depending) to kill the hair follicles beneath the skin and prevent future growth.
Specific wavelengths or laser light are selectively absorbed by melanin, the dark pigment which surrounds the hair follicle. The laser heats the follicle and disables the hair at the root causing the hair to fall out permanently. We use the optimal wavelength to deliver high energy ensuring best results on all skin types.
The treatment is only effective on the growing hairs, this is because they are currently attached to the follicle. The majority of the hair will be in the resting stage (not attached to the follicle yet still in the skin). This is why a number of treatments will be required to ensure that we have captured all the hairs within the growth stage, in the desired area, to deliver the results you will be completely satisfied with.
